At Torrensville Primary School, we understand that all students are individuals and have varying needs. Students diagnosed with disabilities and specific learning difficulties have One Plans developed in collaboration with the child, family and teachers involved. We have a range of interventions to support identified students ran by teachers and SSOs. Students involved in these programs are identified through data collected by teachers and parents are informed of their child’s involvement.
The school recognises and values Aboriginal students and their families within our community. Aboriginal students have an individual ‘One Child One Plan’ to support the individual needs of students. Our Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO), support students and families in and out of the classroom as needed.
